CalCAP Electric Vehicle Charging Station (CalCAP EVCS)

CalCAP EVCS provided a risk management tool to lenders for loans made to small businesses to design, develop, purchase, and install charging stations for passenger vehicles. The goal of CalCAP EVCS was to expand the number of publicly-available electric vehicle charging stations for passenger vehicles at small businesses in California.

The California Energy Commission was the independent contributor providing the program goal and funding. CPCFA provided the CalCAP mechanism and administration. All enrolled loans have been repaid and the loan loss reserve accounts closed.
